1984 - 1985

Nation budget was $4,260. Tri-C Distributors was again the candy supplier. Gross Candy Sales were $14,470 with a net income to the Nation of $5,788. The Nation Council approved a buy-out for those who could not sell candy. The Nation purchased a 118-foot teepee for $695. The first set-up training session took about 2 hours and was held at Chief Larry Wagner’s house. The Comanche Tribe used the teepee for a tribe campout on the shores of Mud Lake and reported the teepee will not sleep eighteen. The longest fish at the Spring Campout at Camp Y-Noah was 11 1/4” caught by Eric Froman from the Seneca Tribe. The August event for 1986 was scheduled for January leaving August as a “no event” month. Fifty-eight Little Braves earn the “Participation Award”. Dave Blough of the Mandan won the Outstanding Service Award. We gained 69 new members and had a total of 239 members on our roster.
