1974 - 1975

The Nation started the year in very poor financial condition. After investigating several possibilities of raising funds, it was decided to have an Easter Candy Sale. The Nation netted approximately $2,750 from the sale.

The Family Picnic in June was held at the Portage Lakes State Park.

The Nation designed and built, as a Nation Event, a float for the Canal Days Parade. The Float took second Place in the Junior Division.

The Tallykeeper became the official Smoke Signal writer. Up until this time, the minutes of the Nation Council meetings were published separately from the Smoke Signal. The Smoke Signal had contained tribe articles, information on upcoming Nation Events, birthdays, etc.

The Organization Drive resulted in sixty-two new Father/Son members and two new tribes were formed.

Father/Son Banquet was held at Village Inn Restaurant in Barberton.

There was a spook House at the Halloween Party and as a result of much are work, it was a big hit. A Nation Guidon was purchased for $125.00.
