1972 - 1973

The Nation council passed a Constitutional Amendment in March to change the Council meeting night from the first Wednesday to the second Wednesday of each month.

The Nation Kite Flying contest was held at Fireside Metropolitan Park and the Spring Cameo was at Camp Tippecanoe. A Teepee Contest was held in August at Manchester High School and awards were given for first and second place for Most Authentic and first and second place for Best Design.

The Heath Candy Company was chosen as the candy supplier for the November Candy Sale.

Fifty fathers signed up during the fall 1973 Organization Drive.

The Blackhawk tribe won the 1973 Big Medicine Award.

Father/Son Banquet meals cost $2.50 for Big Braves and $1.70 for Little Braves.
